haus.fest 2026
advertising
haus.fest is the annual open-doors festival of .haus, Iceland's largest creative community. Each year, the building opens its doors to the public, inviting visitors to explore studios, exhibitions, performances, workshops, and the people behind the creative work that fills the space year-round. The campaign was conceived as a 360-degree brand experience, creating a unified presence across digital, physical, and on-site environments.

Yellow, frogs and breaking through
Over the years, two visual elements have become inseparable from the identity of .haus: its distinctive yellow color and its frogs, designed by the artist Liam Cobb. For the 2026 campaign, these elements took center stage.
Additionally, the campaign aimed to show the opening of a space that is usually closed to the public. To communicate this idea, we created a hole in the posters, symbolizing a break in the wall and offering a glimpse into the creative world of .haus.
In the printed campaign materials, this hole was real. Each poster was individually hand-cut and assembled by hand, making every piece unique. This approach reflected the artistic spirit of .haus and turned the posters into more than advertisements—they became small artworks with their own value and character.

360-degree brand experience
The campaign spanned social media content, short-form promotional videos featuring different in-haus artists, online advertising, press and PR materials, printed flyers, posters, and outdoor billboard placements. The experience continued beyond promotion and into the festival itself through wayfinding signage, information displays, environmental graphics, and a custom-designed schedule brochure that guided visitors through the event.
